Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Tidy Cat litter SCOOPABLE brands but I absolutely detest the non clumping brand and all other non clumping litters for that matter! I need to have my say so just bare with me.
This is really just a general complaint about all non clumping litter out there. Tidy Cat Scoop is a good cat litter so be sure to try it if you want something that works.
Why anyone still offers non clumping litter is totally beyond me.
I have 3 cats of my own and my girlfriend recently asked me to watch over her elderly cat while she was away. It seems that Sibi, that's her name, is picky about her litter box so my g-friend made it a point to tell me her poo box needs to be super duper clean with not a speck of dirty litter in it. And if it's dirty she'll poo all over the house.
SHEESH.. no pressure right?
Okay, I guess this is fine because she's an old, sweet cat with health issues so I understand. Poor thing..
What I DON'T get is when I get to my friend's house I go to clean the cat's poo box and the litter she used is the "non clumping" type. What the heck?! How the heck are you supposed to clean the durn thing up if the cat urine sinks to the bottom of the litter pan and stays there?
It took me forever to scoop up the urine and I'm sorry to say I just had to dump it all because that was the only way I could get it clean. I ended up running to the store to by the same brand (Tidy Cats) but the scoopable version which is way better and easier for ME to clean up.
I don't know how she manages to keep it clean! But you didn't here this from me..
I ALWAYS, ALWAYS use the scoopable or clumpable litter that forms a solid ball because all you need to do is pick up the ball of poo or pee and then it's all gone.
I won't EVER use a non-clumping brand because once u try it you'll never want to go back.. that is the absolute truth/
I must be the only person who seems to have a problem with non clumping litter.. but I just wanna say my peace anyway.
Tidy Cats other clumpable brands are actually totally AWESOME but I won't ever try non clumping brands EVER,, it is just WAY too much work. What a mess they make and a total waste of good litter, so do your wallet a favor and buy clumping cat litter.
