What happened to Cat's Pride Natural?

by Terry W.
(Ballston Spa, NY)

I have 3 cats and was using Cat's Pride and was satisfied. Then I found the Natural version which has even less dust. All of a sudden, I can't find it anywhere.

The Litter tracks all over my house
by: Janet Berry

Cats Pride Litter is the worst I have ever had. I always thought it to be the best but, the 30 lb. bag is terrible! My cat tracks it all over the house, this being the first time I've seen the little green things and the larger pieces stuck on her feet white pieces in my upholstered chairs. I have never seen the other litter all over the place. Please go back to your old clean litter. It might be good for cats in the Humane society but I will not buy that kind again.

SPECIAL ORDER! CONTACT CAT'S PRIDE ABOUT "LIGHT & NATURAL"
by: CrazyKittyMomma

YES! We are a 'rescue home' and have our fair share of rescued kitties that we absolutely adore. Cats Pride (TM)- Natural Scoopable Cat Litter is (was?) our absolute favorite litter for the reasons you mentioned: low-dust, no obnoxious scent, and clumping ability, especially multiple daily scooping households; I easily scoop 5 boxes, 6 times a day(I literally have Tennis Elbow from scooping boxes!!).

I just put a "special order" in with my local grocer - with my fingers crossed that it works! Additionally, I am going to contact the company directly and make sure they know that their "Light & Natural" (15# is really 20#, but for the same price) jugs SUCK.

Oooh, got a little feisty there. oops. Don't mess with a crazy (responsible) cat ladys' favorite litter. Just sayin' >_<

I loved the natural scoop litter
by: Marie

I have used the Cat's Pride Natural scoop litter for years. I like it because it clumps well and has low dust.

My cats LOVED it and used that box more than the others. Unfortunately, I can't find it anymore anywhere near me.

I have tried the new light one, unscented, and it doesn't clump near as well and has dark pieces mixed in which stain my boxes. If you only scoop once/day it's not as bad, but we do our boxes 2 x/day and it doesn't hold up.

I am very upset that I can no longer find this litter.

Cats Pride Natural-What Happened?
by: Anonymous

I have tried the Light and Fresh Cats Pride and my whole house smelled like a cat box.

We ended up changing all our litters but all we could find was the Cats Pride with the pink lid. I don't like it as well as the Cat's Pride natural. So frankly Cats Pride Light and Fresh sucks.

Cat's Pride Natural
by: Teri and the cats of Curlz and Swirlz

In Northern Virginia, Wegmans and Giant carry it, but no other chains. It is also my favorite of all the litters and it's priced right (Wegmans has it for $6.99, Giant around $2 more!). I do not like the other 'styles' of Cat's Pride though. The 'pink cap' one is way too dusty and black and makes my cats paws dirty, and the 'red cap' one is too scented for me, and I can smell the scent on my cats. I have not yet tried the Fresh & Light version.

Cat's Pride Natural
by: Anonymous

Walmart did carry this but now they carry another product called Cat's Pride Fresh & Light fragrance free that might be a substitute for the natural product. It has very low dust as well.
